UPDATE FROM THE TREASURER (JANUARY 2025)

PLAN FOR EXPANSION AND UPGRADE TO THE VOICE OF THE GOOD NEWS RADIO STATION

We are excited to report that a project is about to start to expand and upgrade the Radio Station.  This is made up of four main elements:

  • Expanding the broadcast range by a relay antenna system

  • Constructing a new building and studios for the radio station

  • Updating and protecting the equipment

  • Employing and training a Tsimihety presenter.

Please thank God with us that about three-quarters of the funds have already been given for the project, and please pray that the Lord would supply the remainder.   Pray for all involved in the realisation of the project – the project and radio station leaders, the building company, and the LIFT team.   Pray that more people in more places will hear the Good News of Jesus over the radio in the coming days and that the Lord will bring lost and needy souls to Himself.

If funds received for this Radio Station Project exceed the amount needed, any excess funds will be used for other similar development projects at the Good News Project in Mandritsara.

Please consider providing financial support so that people in and around Mandritsara can hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The Good News Project in Mandritsara depends on regular support from Friends of Mandritsara Trust to continue running. The Project raises some funds locally in Mandritsara from fees charged to hospital patients and pupils in the Good News School. However, the Project needs to receive around £250,000 in 2025 from us. We receive regular donations and one-off donations from a wide variety of supporters, including individuals, churches and trusts.

Funds sent by Friends of Mandritsara Trust are used to support the various ministries of the Good News Project. Through these ministries, many people in and around Mandritsara are cared for through the work of the Good News Hospital, the Good News School, the Community Health Team and the Radio Station. Many village church leaders receive Bible Training. Through all these means the gospel of the Lord Jesus is made known and God is building His church.

The Good News Project Finance Manager, Madame Rindra, gratefully processes the funds received for the project:
