On 20th March, the first cases of COVID-19 were announced in the capital of Madagascar. Please pray that people working in the hospital – and especially in the screening area – will be able to genuinely see their work as a sacrificial service.
How Covid-19 is affecting the Good News project
Despite Coronavirus not yet having reached Madagascar, the outbreak has had an impact on us here in a number of ways which we would like to share with you.
25 years of Good News
1st February 1995 was the official opening date of Clinique Vaovao Mahafaly, the Good News Clinic. The little team of 2 doctors, 2 nurses and 1 lab technician all ready to start work.
Medical and Surgical doctors needed
At present there is a real need for short or long term medical and surgical doctors to maintain the work. When one of the current doctors takes holiday or home leave, it puts a real strain on those remaining.
